AFTER-SCHOOL & IN-SCHOOL PUBLIC SPEAKING & DRAMA CLUB PROGRAMS

STAR ON!! THE ACTING STUDIO offers both, After-School Drama/Public Speaking Programs and In-School Drama/Public Speaking Programs. If your school doesn't offer a program like ours, please ask the Principal or After-School Coordinator to contact us to bring the program to your child's school.

Call or email us if you have any questions to choose the payment option that matches your school, age range, and class day. You can find your option in the submenu. We also offer a payment option through Venmo.

Our successful after-school & in-school programs are an introduction to the wonderful world of public speaking and the performing arts. Aside from teaching professional acting skills, our students also learn other skills:

WHAT DO WE TEACH IN OUR AFTER SCHOOL & IN-SCHOOL PROGRAMS?

Our program is designed to prepare our students with Public Speaking skills and the ability to perform in front of an audience with confidence and authority. They learn acting skills and how to act as professional actors. Children will acquire skills that will prepare them for auditions for professional roles and they will also learn to speak on stage.

While our primary focus is teaching children public speaking and professional acting, our main priority and mission are to help children develop LIFE SKILLS and become the best version of themselves while exploring the TV and Movie industry, as well as Theater acting.
Our curriculum includes classes on:
* Audition technique
* Acting for film and TV
* Cold reading technique
* Acting for commercials
* Scene study & character development
* Monologues (comedy and drama)
* Theater
* Improvisation
* Voice Over
* Public speaking: Storytelling, Present and/or performing an essay in front of an audience, delivering a monologue, and giving oral presentations and performances.

ENROLLMENT

Our after-school & in-school programs enrollment is per semester and there is a one time semester fee, plus the annual registration fee. Our after-school program consists of 13 to 15 weeks per semester (aprox). Schedule may vary depending on different school calendars.
For in-school programs, the semester ends in a performance/showcase for parents, so the students can share what they have learned and display the confidence and skills they have gained in class.
*Notes: 1) No classes held on school holidays. 2) In the event of a school closure due to inclement weather, after+in-school program sessions will be canceled. 3) There will be no make up classes for school holidays, inclement weather cancelations, or students absences. 4) Discretionarily, Star On!! The Acting Studio might add an extra class during the semester session if necessary

We are a studio committed to providing first-rate instruction in a variety of acting skills valuable to both aspiring actors seeking professional instructions and newcomers interested in exploring acting as a hobby while they also develop self confidence, leadership, self esteem and improve their personality.
We use communication skills and confidence building exercises to bring out the star potential inside of our students. We work on body language, voice modulation, fluency, audience engagement, overcoming fear, and the art of public speaking, which are critical factors in the future success of the children. We encourage them to make strong choices, to lose their fears, to take risks on the stage, and to become the best version of themselves.
At Star On!! The Acting Studio, we empower confidence through acting and public speaking, from kids to grown-ups.
* Classes prices for After-School & In-School program differ from regular acting classes prices at our studio.
